Found this page:Don't know if it is of any help, but if you scroll down they write a bit about serialization of Fernandez guitars. Here's the quote:'SerializationThe older Fernandes guitars do have serial numbers on occasion, and can be found on the neck plates of the Stratocasters of the Revival series, but otherwise, Burny and Fernandes didn’t often use serial numbers. Dating a Burny or Fernandes can be loosely done by looking at the truss rod cover. The Gibson bell-shaped covers are found on 1970’s to early 1980’s models. The bell-shape cover with thin white band and ridges sticking out from the side are found on mid-1980s to early 1990’s models. The late 90's model to present will have the palace-shape and 3 screws truss rod covers.' So, how to identify if it's the real deal or not I have no idea.
Will look and see if I can find any more info.EDIT: Been going through their whole product list on their homepage but can't see that particular model. Do you have any idea how old it is?EDIT2: Maybe this can be helpful for you. That link to the ebay page was helpful, Thampen, thank you. It appears the headstock is late 80's or 90's issue. However, like you, i've been unable to find that body shape except on one of their models which has a 3x3 headstock and not a 6 in line. So i'm thinking it's a fake. The guy said he bought it for $150 and knows nothing about it except that it's a Fernandes.Somehow i think he's been mugged and bought a ringer rather than the real deal. Hence the reason he's selling it off so cheap.Oh well, i think i'm gonna pass it up.

There's other bargains to be found out there, and i don't think this is one of them. My gut feeling is to let it go.
